So you are thinking about 2021 and travelling again to your favourite destinations, but you are not sure if it is too early to contact the tour companies and book your holiday. For most small companies it is not too early. I for one, am set to begin receiving bookings for 2021 and 2022. I will not be raising my prices for 2021 because 2020 is pretty much null and void therefore the pricing will remain in tact for next year. I am not sure if I am alone in doing this or if other companies are following suit, the best advice I can provide you is to get in touch with the company directly and ask the questions. Are you taking bookings for 2021 and what are your prices?

2020 for Cape Breton Island is pretty quiet. There will be visitors, no doubt, however the majority of our tourists will be local to Nova Scotia and/or Atlantic Canada. What does that mean for small businesses like mine? It means we will have to stay in slumber for another 12 months (ish) and then wake with extra energy come next Spring (2021) ready for the slew of tourists flocking to our beautiful island in hopes to capture a piece of it's charm and beauty. I am ready now, but will be patiently awaiting your arrival.
Long story short - It is NOT to early to contact a local tour company in the destination of your choice and start reserving your spot. I promise, once restrictions are lifted and the mass numbers of people start travelling once again, tours (especially private tours like mine) will book up fast. Get yours secured early!
Until next post...take care, stay safe - and we will see you in 2021! Love xo
