Santa's coming down the chimney

Writer: Madi GMadi G

It is nearly time for this jolly elf to make his way to your house. Are you ready for Santa? Decked the halls? Music blasting in the background? Hallmark movies on the TV? Have you made the cookies for Mr. Claus?

I am set, all is done. Now to wrap the gifts and place them under the tree. Max and Marley are ready too. They have been very good all year and will have their stockings filled by St. Nick!

Max (Black Labradoodle - 17 months old), Marley (Gold/White Goldendoodle - 5.5 months old)

Even in the midst of the holiday hustle and bustle, I managed to paint three rooms and the dining room furniture. Tell me what you think? Do you get into extra projects at this time of year too? Am I just nutty? It turned out amazing, pretty stoked about my very first chalk paint attempt. I will blog about this process at another time....I am certain there will be more projects to come as I loved doing this one.

Okay, back to the task at hand (by the way, if you haven't noticed I tend to 'squirrel' in my thought process - LOL) SANTA....Who else is a grown up child and totally excited for the big day?

I may not be in my child years any longer (no I am not telling you how old I truly am), but my spirit and nostalgic emotions run like cray cray at this time of year. I love it! I decorate inside and out. I have an excuse to shop and bake! And, I gather with family and friends (that's the best part). I listen to Christmas music nearly a month early and if I could get away with it, I would watch Hallmark Christmas movies ALL YEAR LONG!!!

Please tell me I am NOT alone!

Let me know your Christmas traditions, habits, and guilty pleasures. Yes, all, I want to hear from you.

By the way...before I go, Max and Marley are so tired, they crashed on the sofa. Here take a look.

I will see you next YEAR!
